John F. Wilker, M.D. , F.A.A.F.P.

Dr. Wilker has been involved in Family Practice in Kissimmee-St. Cloud since 1986. He completed a distinguished 17 years in the U.S. Navy, rising to the rank of Commander. Dr. Wilker received his BS from Perdue University and his MS from Ohio State University. He received his Medical degree from Case Western Reserve. Dr. Wilker has served as the Director of Residency Training for the Naval Hospital, participated in Emergency Room Medicine and served as Chief of Staff at Orlando Regional Medical Center-St. Cloud. Dr. Wilker is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr Wilker currently resides is Kissimmee with his wife.



Charles K. Powers, M.D.

Dr. Powers was born in Kissimmee and grew up in the Central Florida area. He graduated Cum Laude from Troy State University in 1983 with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Powers received his medical degree from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in 1988. While being involved in Family Practice since residency, Dr. Powers has also participated in Emergency Room Medicine, Cardiac Rehabilitation and served as track physician for the Daytona International Speedway. Dr. Powers has received numerous awards including the Orlando/Osceola Sentinel Readers choice award, "Best Overall Doctor 1995." He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Medical Corps Reserves. Dr. Powers is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Powers currently reside in Kissimmee with his wife and children.



D. Paul Thorne, M.D.

Dr. Thorne has been in practice in the Kissimmee-St. Cloud area since 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary Medical School in Calgary, Canada. He completed his Family Practice Residency at The Calgary General Hospital in 1985. Dr. Thorne had a Family Practice and Sports Medicine Practice in Calgary, Canada from 1985 to 1995. During that time Dr. Thorne served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University, and directed the Sports Medicine Residency Program. He served as the team Physician for Canada's National Hockey Team from 1988 to 1994. Dr. Thorne is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Thorne currently resides in Kissimmee with his wife and children.



Christopher E. Baur, M.D.

Dr. Baur received a BA degree from Florida State University and received his Medical degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Halifax Medical Center. After his residency training Dr. Baur joined the Air Force and completed 5 years as a Major. In 2000 Dr. Baur joined ProHealth Family Physicians. Dr. Baur is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Baur currently resides in St. Cloud with his wife and children.



Jacquelyn H. Nystrom, M.D.

Dr. Nystrom received a B.S. in chemistry from Wheaton College and her Medical degree from Emory University in 2004. Her residency in Family Practice was completed at Florida Hospital. While attending medical school Dr. Nystrom also received a Masters in Public Health degree. Dr. Nystrom began practicing with ProHealth Family Physicians in July of 2007. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Nystrom currently resides in Orlando with her husband and children.



Edith E. Ang M.D.

Dr. Ang received her B.S. degree from Mount St. Mary's College and her Medical degree from De La Salle University College of Medicine. Her residency in Family Practice was completed at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Dr. Ang began practicing with ProHealth Family Physicians in September 2008. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Board of Family Medicine.



Karl M. Schweinberg, PA-C

Karl received his B.S. degree in Health Sciences from The George Washington University in 1993. He joined ProHealth Family Physicians in 2001 after an accomplished 20+ career with the U.S. Navy. Karl is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants, the Naval Association of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
